outside glasses

Seth calls his sunglasses "outside glasses." He got these in his Easter basket for his first Easter. Or maybe Aunt Stefanie gave them to him for his first Easter. Either way, he was only 4 months old, and the glasses didn't fit him. Nor did he like to wear them.

In my super duper cleaning extravaganza Sunday afternoon, we came across his sunglasses packed away with all sorts of other things. Ever since then, he has asked to wear them. He is really into playing volleyball right now (he throws it up as if serving and then hits it...pretty amazing to watch him do it as he gets the timing just right!), and he insists on wearing the sunglasses. While he plays volleyball. While drawing. In the house. When it's bright out. When it's dark out. Even when he can't see much. Just all the time...

Woohooo! Tell him Aunt Stefanie is sooo proud of the volleyball skills. :) Love to see he is practicing with the ball I gave him, too :)

I just noticed - another lefty in the family?

no, not a lefty. He draws with both hands but eats and throws with his right.

he'd have a better chance pitching in the majors if he was a lefty...
