Seth's new ride

We were just given a backpack for Seth last week by the Hollowell family in our mission! We have gone downtown and navigated through the city with a stroller before, but let me say that getting on a bus or trying to ride the metro and getting the stroller down those immensely long escalators...well, it was a lot of work. So we were excited to receive such a gift and be able to use it so soon. He loved being on Kevin's back and looking around. A couple negatives though to using the backpack: someone has to carry him on their sweaty back, he can't lie down to take a nap, and there is no basket below to put bags and whatnot. Despite these few negatives we realized today, we really did enjoy using it and plan to carry him around Prague and Vienna that way in the next two weeks. We also discovered that he can nap, just his poor little head droops down! Definitely a fan of the backpack over the stroller.

Here he is outside of Audrey's apartment before we begin our afternoon adventure...

Enjoying his view from the Red 7 bus...

Waiting to get on the blue Metro line to head to Hősök tere...

And yes, the hat is still a little big for his head, but even after applying sunscreen to his little head (and thus resulting in some funky sticky hair!), I wanted to make sure he was protected from the sun. And the hat turned to the back was something he did all on his own! I was actually shocked he wore it without complaining or even trying to remove it the entire time. It eventually even slid completely over his eyes so that he couldn't see! I didn't even notice for a bit because he never complained about it. Such a laid back kiddo!

He looks so cute in the backpack!!! I can imagine it makes doing public transportation a lot easier. David loves looking at all the photos and videos of Seth.

I love the backpack. It looks like one of the smaller ones. Some are huge for hiking, etc. We have been in the market for one of those as Madi is too heavy for the front carriers. What brand is the one that you have?
