a weekend without dad

Finally it cooled down enough to wear pants! Yesterday, I took out his jeans for the fall and put him in them. They are the 9-12 months size. (That shirt is 6-9 months.) They're still pretty big on him. They don't like to stay rolled up either and he gets caught in them when crawling and climbing. Oh well. He doesn't seem to mind. I just thought he looked so cute in his new little jeans!

And these two balls remain his favorite. He always plays with these two. You saw that in the video from the other day as well.

And this is his new car that we got on "clearance" at the grocery store the other day. It was only a couple bucks. He really doesn't have much interest in it yet, but he did sit long enough for me to take his picture on it. Probably doesn't like it because he actually has to sit. :)

Oh the pants...what a struggle! Daniel has the same problem. His waist size is 12 months, his length is 18-24 months. Childrens Place and Gap Kids both have pants (starting at 24 months) where you can adjust the elastic inside the pants (pretty cool). Daniel's pants this morning for church were huge, I had them as tight ast the could be (in the waist) and they were still falling down, but he needed the length.

Are those the pjs Daniel picked out for him?

P.S. We had a play date with Rachael the other day and she said that Target also has the adjustable waist (not like you can to go Target, but if you shop online).

Oh, those adjustable waist pants sound great! Seth is so skinny despite eating every waking moment. He has his father's metabolism or something, definitely not mine.

And yes those are the pj's Daniel picked out. He actually work the shirt that matches it last night because it got pretty cold at night. They are so cute!
